Providing evidence and recommendations for better financing for Female Genital Schistosomiasis (FGS)
Client – German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ)
CPC Analytics worked with GIZ to strengthen the evidence base for financing FGS – a neglected yet highly prevalent tropical disease affecting up to 56 million women and girls across sub-Saharan Africa. The team compiled and analysed a database of 25 FGS-specific projects and conducted 10 expert interviews to identify systemic challenges. Based on this analysis, CPC developed a set of recommendations to improve funding efficiency and integration. Project findings were presented at a GIZ-hosted webinar in March 2026, reaching 206 participants from governments, donors, research institutions, and other organisations.

CPC Analytics worked with the WHO mpox response team to accelerate the analysis and communication of data across successive mpox outbreaks, including the 2022/23 multi-country outbreak and the 2024/25 outbreak centered in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and neighboring countries. Our services spanned the entire analytics value chain, including data engineering, producing an interactive dashboard, conducting ad-hoc analyses, and authoring two academic journal articles (The Lancet, US CDC).
Research Prioritization for Pandemic and Epidemic Intelligence
Client – WHO Hub for Pandemic and Epidemic Intelligence
CPC Analytics supported the WHO Hub on the technical coordination and qualitative analysis of this Research Prioritization Exercise. Through surveys and consultations with international experts, the project identified 23 research priorities to improve disease surveillance and decision-making in health emergencies. A Technical Brief, co-authored by CPC and published in May 2024, sets out the methodology and findings. Since then, CPC has also supported the WHO Hub in aligning funders, researchers and public health practitioners around shared evidence priorities. Activities included co-developing the PANDEMIC PACT Research Funding Tracker with Oxford University’s Pandemic Science Institute (launched in February 2026) – and many more.
